WYITA was dissolved on 1 April 2014. West Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority was a statutory body under
the legal provisions of the Transport Acts 1968 and 1985.
It is an historical reference of meetings, agendas, papers, decisions, finances and governance of the former West Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority (WYITA), 2009-2014.
On 1 April 2014 the West Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) and the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive were dissolved, and the new West Yorkshire Combined Authority was created.
The provision and development of high-quality public transport services within West Yorkshire is now carried out through the Transport Committee of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA).
